Room for share

Hi...
My name is Reni Yuliastutik. I'm from Bali (Indonesia) and I live in between Kuta (the touristy area where all the travellers and tourist go) and Denpasar (the capital city of Bali). I joined a traveler website and I hosted many people from all around the world. And they stayed at my place for free. But, someway not a few of them took advantage of me to have a free place to stay. So i stop hosting and host friends only. :)

So, I made this blog for travelers who want to travel to Bali and want to stay with local with a low budget acommodation. You can find cheap places in Kuta area or Denpasar but of yours you pay what you get. Cheap but uncomfortable bed, not clean or far away from everywhere.

I live in a small flat... it just a room of mine and a small living room in it. I put one single bed on y living room with two small tables beside it with mirror. It also has a standing fan, I have an AC in my bedroom but I can always open the door of my room so you can feel the AC when i turn it on since my bedroom and livingroom are connected.

We will share the bathroom and kitchen just like room mate. I have some cooking utensils that you can use if you want to cook, but of course you have to buy your own gas, but NO pork please. I only provide mineral water for you that you can take as much as you want. The bathroom is not with hot shower.

I don't drink but would like to try, i don't smoke and don't consume drugs :) trying to have a healthy life though. So, I appreciate if you don't bring alcohol (beer is OK) and DRUGS into the house.

If you smoke, please do it outside, thanks :)

My place is not far from everywhere. 15 minutes away from the airport, 15 minutes to Kuta Center, 15 minutes to Kuta Beach and 66 beach, 15 minutes to Seminyak, 15 minutes to Denpasar, 60 minutes to Ubud. (by motorbike) ;)

I work Monday-Friday, usually 10-6, but sometimes i finish later. I can show you around on the weekend but depends on my availability. But I think I will be available to accompany u for dinner or drinks after work. So, I will give you my spare key so you can go and back whenever you want.

Rate and term of condition

Room rate is 50k IDR/night. And I can only take one person only. The rate is including electricity, mineral water everyday, free internet (you can use my laptop and my internet connection to check you email or facebook), and all access in my flat. :)

You have to pay the rent (50% deposit) in advance (once you arrived) and the rest should be paid half term before the end of your stay. For example your stay period is from 1st April - 10th April, so the deposit has to be paid on the 1st and the balance should be paid on the 6th.

You can use my TV and DVD player anytime you want, but of course don't forget to turn off and unplug everything when you live the house. Don't want to waste energy :)

I will need your copy passport that you have to send by email (either scanned or captured) for me to have your info before you arrive at my place. And when you're arrive I will need to copy the visa to be given to the landlord for your stay permit at the local area and you need to pay 50k valid for a month. It's a local government regulation just for security if something happen.

This is the things maybe you will hate. For girls, I don't accept  for you to bring guys home :) also for guys sorry no girl and jiggy jig at my place :P

Facilities

My place is located in a perfect area. Thare many cheap restaurants, laundy places, mini markets, internet cafes and there's a big grocery store nearby. All are walking distance :)

The best way to travel in Bali is by motorbike. And you can rent motorbike (automatic one) for 40k/day. I have a contact of a guy who can deliver motorbike to my place if you need one.

I recommend you to buy a local sim card to have a good communication between us. Sim card is cheap, you can buy it for 15k with 2k credit in it and it's cheap to call and text local, and also it has some formats to do overseas cheap calls.
